Nope, not a living yet with this site, that’s for certain. I know why. I’ve been too concerned about counting the money. (hey, it’s an easy trap to fall into, and checking stats, wasting time on twitter/facebook rather than write fresh new content for this site which is the VERY best investment I can make. I need to add more value to this site to make it worthwhile….or, perhaps I’m beating myself up and it’s just early days and all my promotional efforts will come through eventually.
Either way, income was definitely one of the lowest weekends I’ve seen: Google Adsense came in at $4.72 for Friday (one of my better days with Adsense) $1.56 for Saturday, and $3.72 for Sunday.
Affiliate sales were really dismal with just 3 items sold, and $2.15 in earnings.

And this, is a game about Bananas. I didn’t explore very far, but maybe I should….looks like fun.
So. Tally it all up and you get $12.15 for the weekend. Which, I suppose isn’t too bad considering I didn’t work this weekend. Instead, I went out for dinner, washed the car, did laundry, and watched a movie. And this is the best part – I made money while I did all this. Granted, the above entertainment costs were more than the earnings so I’m still in the red, but the income is recurring. All I have to do is keep working. Harder.
For those of you that are following along: ad the ten bucks to the total and I wrap up the month of November at $628.63. Not too shabby for a month old site.
