Nikon Coopix P100 Point and Shoot Digital Camera
Next up, and probably at the other end of what a digital point and shoot camera can be today is the Nikon Coolpix P100 which is jam packed with features and offers an amazing 26x optical zoom lens and a nifty LCD display thats slides out from the digital camera body. The screen tilts so you can see while shooting so you don’t have to tilt the camera to see the back of the Nikon Coolpix P100. 10.3 megapixels for the Nikon Coolpix P100 is more than enough for shooting with this new digital camera from Nikon and full HD video recording with stereo sound make te Nikon Coolpix P100 a versatile shooter you can use for both photos and HD video recording. But if there’s one feature that makes the Nikon P100 a top seller digital camera it’s the lens. With a 26x zoom lens the Nikon P100 offers a 26mm wide angle for shooting all your friends or landscapes, but also has a 678mm telephoto zoom at the longest setting. 678mm gets you real close to what you need to shoot when you physically cannot. Great for a day at the zoo, or your kid’s little league games. The Nikon P100 is priced more than the lowest priced digital camera but consider the feature set and you will see that the Nikon P100 is still a great digital camera deal. When you are ready to buy the Nikon P100 dont’ pay full price as I found Amazon to have the best price on the Nikon P100 and the price is much lower than the suggested price of $399.00

Nikon Coolpix S570 Point and Shoot Digital Camera
The Nikon S570 is the in-between digital camera when you compare the two above. The S570 offers the same small compact size as the Nikon Coolpix L22, but offers much features and flexibility in a camera that is both smaller and cheaper than the Nikon Coolpix P100 above. At 12 megapixels the Nikon S570 can make stunning sized prints up to 16×20 in size and the zoom lens, while not the huge 26x zoom the P100 offers, does offer a wide angle 5x Nikkor zoom lens in a package that is much smaller than the Nikon P100. The lens also features advanced four way image stabilization that is exclusive to the Nikon S570 as well, and a Smart Auto system takes the guesswork out of complicated camera settings and allows you to shoot on full automatic and let the little Nikon worry about complicated camera settings. The Nikon Coolpix S570 price is supposed to be $179 but I found a better deal on the Nikon S570 at Amazon and I didn’t have to wait either as it shipped overnight with free shipping. It was the best deal on the Nikon S570 that I found.
