One of the benefits of Summer in Moncton is there’s a lot more stuff to photograph. And, today’s efforts are at a weekend car dealship in the mall. The dealer, the mitsubishi I think – took over a corner of the mall’s parking lot, and I had my camera with me so made a feeble attempt: And, feeble it is. But, still some purdy colors – if nothing else.
Step 1. Dial up the saturation – shoot bright colors. Get outside. Walk to mall and have starbucks. On way home…see car sale. Shoot now, ask questions later.
I don’t know that I’d call this car sale giant, but that’s what the balloon says. I wonder
why dealerships seem to think that the more balloons/flags/streamers they have, the more
cars they’ll sell. I wonder – does this actually work? It must.
I wish the posts/signs weren’t in the background – messy, messy, messy photo. close your eyes.
This one’s a bit better - save for the mall in the background..
oh. man. it’s a long way down to shoot this one. creak, crack..go my knees.
and, look at the bugs! One would think they’d wash these cars before being put on display.
This is better: much cleaner background. I might just be getting the hang of this.
Oh, man. low angles again. This photo stuff is a young man’s game. At least this yellow number has seen a wash.
Hey look. I got the word “Giant Sale” in the photo twice – that countsfor something, no?
And, it wouldn’t just be right if you didn’t have a blow up sign… or a circus tent.
I don’t know about you, but I’d want to present more of a professional image when selling
something that to most families is the second most expensive item they’re going to buy – after their house.
One last one. Tent – balloon – cars. Got all in the photos. I can turn pro. :)
Oddly enough, and not included in the sale with balloons and such was this little guy for sale just down the street. Of all the cars I saw at the car sale, this little guy had the most promise. Great weather today for a little convertible.
